How to Find Us

Maleny Cheese is easy for you to find. We are situated just off Maleny-Montville Rd, 300m from the Landsborough – Maleny Rd junction. The cheesery is clearly seen from the road because of the cheese wedge sign, yellow flags and a distinctive building.

  • From Brisbane traveling time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Take the Beerburrum Scenic Road turn-off from the Bruce Highway while traveling north.
  • From Noosa traveling time is less than 1 hour. Take the Landsborough turn off from the Bruce Highway while traveling south.
  • From Montville travel 8 Km along the Maleny-Montville Rd. Take the turn to the right just after Tree Frog Gallery, 300m before Landsborough-Maleny Rd junction.
  • From Maleny travel 3 km along the Landsborough-Maleny Rd towards Landsborough. Take the left turn to Montville and turn left again 300m down this road.

For the experienced connoisseur right through to the cheese-tasting novice, there is simply no better way to experience the fresh tastes of Maleny, than a visit to Maleny Cheese. Come and see, taste and learn about cheese. Sit on the deck at the cheesery and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and a beautifully presented Cheese Stop Café Platter with a glass of regional wine.  Bring your friends. There is a kid’s corner for the very young and a small calf is on site for you to meet (when available). Call the Cheesery to make a booking, to secure your favorite table or to answer any questions you may have.

 

Parking and Access

Parking is provided, including access for people with disability.  Coach access is by booking only (car park drop off only). The entrance is slightly sloped, but access for wheel chairs and prams is recommended from the disabled car park and rear driveway entrance. A disabled toilet is provided for visitor comfort along with public toilet facilities.

 

Maleny Cheese and the Cheese Stop Café are 3.5Km from Maleny and only 2Km from Mary Caincross National Park.
