Maleny Cheese Shipping Terms & Conditions

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

  • We do NOT ship outside Australia.
  • Only selected products and sizes are available for purchase through our online shop for post orders.
  • The following products are purchased at the discretion of the customer.  You are personally authorising and taking responsibility for Maleny Cheese sending the following products:
    • Glass packaged products can possibly break during transit.
    • Yoghurts do not travel well via packs.  Package may be tipped upside down during transit.

 


 

Shipping Terms

POSTAL ORDERS:

  • Maleny Cheese utilises the Australia Post Express delivery system.
  • Postal orders are NOT available for delivery to a PO Box – a street address is compulsory.
  • Dispatch day is: Tuesday only.
  • All orders need to be placed by midnight Monday evenings.  Orders after this time will not be dispatched until following week.
  • Parcel sizes are automatically calculated according to weight of total order:
    • Parcel (up to 4kg)  =  $26.50
    • Heavy orders will have your order packed in multiple parcels.
  • All parcels are packed with an ice pad to keep products cool.
  • A tracking number will be issued (via email), once order is packed and ready for dispatch.

Delivery and Hot Weather Policy

  • We manufacture the highest quality products and promise to do everything we possibly can to ensure that they are delivered undamaged and unspoiled.  To ensure this we carefully pack for transit in an ice pad.
  • Maleny Cheese prefers not to deliver our cheese products during hot weather due to a high risk of the products softening/melting out of shape.  Our recommendation is that dairy products should be purchased at Maleny Cheese Café, farmers market, or if possible a store near you.
  • During hot weather, you are personally authorising and taking responsibility for Maleny Cheese sending a delivery at this time.
  • Please note our returns policy below regarding melted cheese below.

 

Breakage Policy

  • The following products are purchased at the discretion of the customer.  You are personally authorising and taking responsibility for Maleny Cheese sending the following products:
    • Glass packaged products can possibly break during transit.
    • Yoghurts do not travel well via packs.  Package may be tipped upside down during transit.

 

Refund Policy

  • In the rare event that goods are damaged during transit, Maleny Cheese will, at our discretion, offer a credit for goods damaged in transit.
  • All packaging materials,  box / satchel must be kept, and you may be asked to lodge a complaint with Australia Post, if applicable.
  • Photographic evidence of the damage will be required, and the goods may need be returned for examination.
  • Please note that this does not include replacement of goods that melt/soften during transit.
